Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Responsibilities: - Design and analyze structural systems and components for various construction projects
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using drafting software such as MicroStation and Revit
- Perform calculations and simulations using engineering software like Mathcad and FEA
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications
- Review project plans and specifications to identify potential design issues or conflicts
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in drafting, technical writing, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, system design, and project engineering principles
- Experience with software such as MicroStation, Mathcad, Revit, and FEA
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
